Movie Digest

The movie follows Jjang Goo on a quest to deliver the letters, which are addressed to different people and written by his missing cousin, Chun Bae. On taking up such a journey, he discovers several things on the way that leave you on the edge of your seat.

The Feel-Good Part

The movie is well paced. For such a short time, it displays so many complex emotions at once. It aims to build a different kind of suspense-based, thriller-based film, which makes it unique in itself.

The Disappointing Factor

Though it is well-paced, the movie fails to flow in a good manner. The movie gets boring from the start. It does not try to grab the viewer’s attention or interest. Thus, one might not end up completely watching it.

In-Depth Analysis

The movie follows Jjang Goo. It’s been 25 years since his Chun Bae went missing and has not been found yet. Unexpectedly, he receives some letters. These letters are addressed to several acquaintances of his missing cousin Chun Bae, who appears to have written them himself. One of those letters is addressed to the past lover of Chun Bae, who is Bok Soon. Jjang Goo decides to set himself out on a journey to ensure all the letters are delivered to the people they are addressed to. He meets up with Bok Soon to deliver the letter. After that, he meets the class president, Jang. Together, the three of them recall their past memories. As the conversation turns heavy and dark, they find the real sender of the letters and uncover several hidden secrets.

Star Power

The actors fail to bring out the emotions. As much as they seem complex, they are also messy. The acting also feels awkward and does not fit the parts of the movie, and the chemistry between the actors seems non-existent.

Overall Opinion

This movie is definitely a skip and is not worth your time. If you do have time to spare, pick another movie that you’d actually enjoy watching.
