To find his father, Yeongho goes to the hospital. However, he must soon travel to Germany to see his love. He finds his mother with a middle-aged man when he returns to Korea.

The Feel-Good Part

It’s straightforward in style and brutally honest in delivery, a matter-of-fact response tinged with melancholy. Introduction feels like a meditation on how first impressions fade over time: What began as something lovely and easy can quickly become convoluted, unreachable, and difficult to maintain.

The Disappointing Factor

It is not a film to see if you expect a well-structured film that concentrates on a specific story and cleanly lays it out for you. Instead, this film largely consists of protracted scenes with individuals conversing. You can learn a little about the people, but there are no detailed backstories, motivations, or other details provided. So if you’re searching for a film that will keep you entertained for hours, this is probably not the film for you. There isn’t much music, everything is in black and white, and you’ll be puzzled at moments.

In-Depth Analysis

  • Her father have already asked him to come, but he was already busy when he arrived; • She wish to learn in Germany, and her mother needed to find inexpensive lodging. • He went to a beach restaurant to see his mother, who was with an elderly actor. His father, who is a doctor, summons Yeong Ho. Yeong Ho has to wait since he is preoccupied with his patients, one of whom is a well-known actor. When his love Joo Won relocates to Berlin for her education, Yeong Ho surprises her by showing up in the city. Joo Won has secured lodging at the house of an artist whose attractiveness intimidates her through her mother. Yeong Ho walks out to lunch with his mother, who wishes to connect him to a colleague he met at his father’s hospital. After lunch, Yeong Ho invites his friend Jeong Soo to join him to the beach. Yeong Ho nods off and has a dream about Joo Won. When he wakes up, he padres the cold and goes swim, while Jeong Soo keeps an eye on him.

Star Power

Young-polite ho’s but distant approach towards his parents, with whom he rarely spends a single moment alone, and Ju-contrastingly won’s close bond with her mother, are both noticeable.

Overall Opinion

“Introduction” is both clear and enigmatic. The title could refer to Youngho’s age, at the start of maturity, or to the fact that each chapter has new or renewed acquaintances. The film may possibly be designed to act as an introduction to Hong’s vast and engrossing body of work for newcomers.
