The Feel-Good Part

It is such a cute romance film. It makes your heart warm while watching.

The Disappointing Factor

There isn’t anything in particular to pinpoint something wrong with the film.

In-Depth Analysis

This film is adapted from the manga 10-manbun no 1. The movie is a roller coaster of emotions like the manga. Rino’s crush on popular boy Ren is a familiar event that we notice in many films and shows. But this young love between Rino and Ren is so beautiful and touching. Ren was beside her when Rino was diagnosed with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis). ALS is a disease that affects the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, causing the loss of muscle control. It does not have a cure yet. With Rino’s bucket list, they live their life to the fullest with each other besides. We may not know what will happen to Rino’s condition, but their love for each other will live on forever. The film is slow-paced, but you will not feel it is slow.

Star Power

Taira Yuna (Rino Sakuragi) and Shirahama Alan (Ren Kiritani) worked great together to bring the emotions. Their work is very moving and impactful.

Overall Opinion

It is a bittersweet and very emotion-led film. You are bound to bawl your eyes out when you watch this film.
