Movie Digest

Haruka Kudo’s character, Kotera, is a senior in high school. She’s a member of the climbing club at school and enjoys scrambling. She is pleasant to be around and has a soft-spoken demeanour. In the meantime, Kondo (Kentaro Ito), a student of the same school’s ping pong club, is drawn to Kotera.

The Feel Good Part

People who appreciate slow-paced films will enjoy this to the utmost; the romance can seem strange at times, and the majority of the film’s viewers are teenagers.

The Disappointing Factor

The plot is fairly uninteresting. It’s a slice of life, so don’t hold your breath for much. Some may argue that there were a few story gaps that left me perplexed.

In-Depth Analysis

The story revolves around a young woman named Kotera and her love of rock climbing. Some of her peers admire her climbing enthusiasm and seek out activities in which they are interested. Kondo, one of her classmates, admires and watches her from afar. Kondo is a member of the tennis club and keeps an eye on Kotera during practise. He has no idea what he wants to achieve, which is one of the qualities he admires in Kotera.

Star Power

Kotera, is the main focus, is a creative writer. She enjoys scrambling and is a member of the school’s climbing club. She has a gentle demeanour and is enjoyable to be around. Meanwhile, Kotera is drawn to Kondo (Kentaro Ito), a ping pong club member at the same school.

Overall Opinion

This film isn’t unpleasant, but it isn’t very memorable. This film isn’t for the majority of people, once again. Because it’s a slice of life, there isn’t much going on and it moves slowly.
