Movie Digest

The movie shows multiple stories with uncorrelated plots. It’s about the lives of the different characters and their relationships.

The Feel Good Part

Instead of watching a single movie in one sitting, the audience gets to enjoy five different short stories one after another. In the course of these stories, the viewers will encounter characters that are relatable as well as ones who will surprise them. This omnibus movie is definitely worth a watch for people who want to stray off mainstream storylines.

The Disappointing Part

Some of the plots feel a bit off and raise some issues on grounds of believability. Five different stories are crammed in a time slot of 76 mins which allows very less time for plot development per story.

In-Depth Analysis

There’s a father-daughter duo struggling with their issues on the verge of confrontation. A part-timer at a hamburger shop works to save up for attending their idol’s concert. A mother gets on an intercity bus with her eight-year-old daughter. A homeless person receives one rose a day and develops tender feelings of love. A professor living a life without purpose after retirement suddenly finds meaning in a knife gifted to him by his student. These are all stories of everyday people caught up in circumstances and relationships. Each story takes the respective characters on different journeys.

Star Power

The cast gives depth to the characters even in the short duration of each story.

Overall Opinion

This movie is for an audience that doesn’t mind trying out unconventional movies that put less focus on following popular tropes and more on storytelling.
