The Feel-Good Part

The drama is fun to watch and spend time on as it does not have a conclusion and is more involved with building the background and the characters. The movie is perfect for people who missed out on watching the play and do not want to watch the series. There is also an element of comedy that is omnipresent throughout the movie.

The Disappointing Factor

The make-up of the Zombies did not look good, and it was better in the play. The cuts on their faces kept coming and going at random, and many of them had similar cuts on their faces which made it hard for the viewer to tell them apart.

In-Depth Analysis

This drama is about a dancer who gives up becoming a professional and vows to become a Buddhist monk to rediscover himself, discovers zombies in a temple graveyard and has to decide whether to help them attain Buddha-hood or not.

He is supposed to avoid going to the temple graveyard but does so against the priest’s wishes. The zombies ask him to teach them how to dance as that would help them elevate themselves. The drama urges you to find out whether they meet their goal in the end.

Star Power

The actors are well-chosen for this comedy, and they can joke around with each other very well. The cast is small, making it easier for the watcher to keep up with their characters. Yamashita Kenjiro plays the main role of the dancer. He encapsulated his character. The supporting cast had Kubota Yuki, Fujita Rei, and many others that did a fantastic job.

Overall Opinion

It is a fun movie with a comedic premise and delivers on that front adequately. Although if you have seen the play or the drama series, you can skip it as it is a remake and does not offer anything new to the plot.
