Movie Digest
Adapted from the anime series, Humanoid Monster Bem, the movie is about three yokai (supernatural creatures) who move into a coastal city that has been affected by the malicious behavior of humans and trouble caused by monsters and yokai.
They decide to stay back and fight the evil even though they are singled out on their appearance.
The Feel-Good Part
The visuals are on point and very realistic.

The storyline is not for all and only true anime fans will like it.

Three yokai (supernatural creatures) Bem, Bela and Belo are humanoid monsters, striving to live as humans but their appearance changes while experiencing extreme emotions.
The three of them move to a coastal city that has been affected owing to the corrupt behavior of humans and harm caused by monsters and yokai’s. Although they are discriminated for their appearance, they decide to remain in the city, fight evil and in the process make some friends. Their hope is that if they do good, then they transform into humans completely.
Star Power
The three female leads do a splendid job.
Overall Opinion
If you are an anime fan who likes the horror genre, then the movie is for you. If you have read the series, then you can make a choice to watch.
