Movie Digest

This movie is directed by Shugo Fuji. This story takes place in a theatre in Japan, where the actors play the roles of all crew members involved in a film. Movie revolves around Sho Oyamada, a passionate actor, Tatsuji Sugiyama, also an actor who works part time in a convenience store, Yasu Kawamoto, friend of Tatsuji, Kochi Yamguchi, a youtuber who wants to make a film but has no money.

 The Feel-Good Part

This movie does not portray that the actors just chase their dreams passionately, but shows that they want to be loved and starve fir recognition, which makes it close to reality. It represents that people are not ideal, and they are greedy.

The Disappointing Factor

Director Fuji dragged the scenes a lot which makes the movie look like bad editing. Viewers get bored when a scene is dragged for too long instead of just getting to the point.

In-Depth Analysis

This film has transitions from present to past in an interesting way which makes it fun for viewers to watch. Sho Oyamada is a passionate actor who one day auditions for a role where he had to play a weak-willed character which is not suitable for his acting style, he requests one of the director to give him another chance, but gets treated as fool instead. Tatsuji Sugiyama is an actor who works in a convenience store, he feels inferior about himself and wants to do something as he wants to confess his feelings to a girl. Yasu Kawamoto is Tatsuji’s friend who wants them to become famous together. Koichi Hamaguchi is a youtuber who proposes on making their own film. This movie shows how a person acts on criminal impulses to achieve what they want.

Star Power

Every character is beautifully and realistically executed by the actors. They made the movie thrilling with their incredible acting.

Overall Opinion

This movie is thrilling and is recommended to watch. But some of the scenes are unwantedly extended which bores a lot of viewers.
