The Disappointing Factor

The outset disrupts the movie’s pacing which was a bit disappointing from the beginning.

In-Depth Analysis

Asakusa Kid, film made Kitano shined more brightly. It doesn’t give a penetrating insight into Kitano. The tale takes place in 1972, with Kitano introduced as the elevator boy and common dogsbody, a burlesque cabin. The audience was further enthusiastic about the venue’s strippers. The first half of the movie is slow-paced and reliable. Fukami gives a hard time to the newcomer before agreeing to train him. Kitano got time to become friends with Chiharu while he was not practicing. Chiharu is a straight-talking stripper who abdicated her singing and acting career.

Star Power

The cast did a great job of portraying what was given to them. The side characters were also great. The movie was enhanced by the performance of the actors.
