Movie Digest
The story revolves around wu song. Wu song’s brother suddenly passes away, his death was a mystery. When wu song investigates his death he finds out that his brother was murdered and it was made to be seen as an unknown death. Wu song takes this case to the court but the authorities dismiss the case. Wu song finds the whole ordeal suspicious and sets on a mission to find who is behind this and take his revenge. The story then switches to the villain being scared of wu songs revenge. The villain tries in many ways to have wu song dead.
The Feel-Good Part
The plot line is very interesting because it had a mix of emotions and action sequences to it. The movie has praiseworthy action sequences. The cinematography goes very well with all the scenes be they action or drama
The Disappointing Factor
The movie is not up to the mark. It has a negative portrayal of women. It would have been better if the female characters were shown to be completely evil rather than gullible.
In-Depth Analysis
The story showcases two strong men. One a hero and the other a villain. They are both desperate for each other’s lives, and they both want to kill each other. Wu Song’s reason is revenge whereas the villain’s reasons are his insecurities. If we break the plot we see that it is just another villain and hero story, but this movie has interesting characters which make it better to watch. The good thing about this movie is that the female characters have other roles instead of just being the male lead’s possession. This movie does not use its female characters just for the sake of a romantic angle in the story.
Star Power
The audience can tell by the cast’s acting skills that they are very into their roles. All the cast together brings out the goodness of this movie.
Overall Opinion
Sure some of the sequences and dialogues in this movie make the audience cringe but overall this doesn’t disappoint if you are watching this purely for the sake of entertainment.
