Set in the era that saw the collapse of the Ming Dynasty and an unstable phase for Chinese martial art. Master Mu retires to practise along with his family. On the night they were to set forth on their journey, Master Mu is greeted with the good fortune of the birth of his grandson, i.e, his son Mu Zheng Tian and daughter in law welcomed a baby boy.

The Feel Good Part

The story is interlaced with humour and action sequence. It is worth a try for people who enjoy historical dramas.

The Disappointing Part

Some of the humor comes off as absurd. The writing and the characters lack depth. The plot doesn’t make sense multiple times and the viewer could easily lose interest.

In-Depth Analysis

The story is set in ancient China and focuses on martial art and their practisers. Master Mu is graced with the birth of his grandson. He decides to pass the legacy of the Mu clan onto him.

Star Power

Shu Yang does an incredible job of playing Wu Liao and shines through in all the action sequences. The rest of the cast adds humour value to the movie.

Overall Opinion

This movie is for people who want to go for a historical comedy.
