Movie Digest
The movie follows Song Wanshan. She is a very nice person. She is preparing and aims to become a flight attendant in the future. Unfortunately, one day she goes with her friends to the forest. There, she encounters a ghost, which leads her down a scary and dangerous path of no return.
The Feel-Good Part
The movie is packed with scenes that make you scream your lungs out. It is packed with horror and supernatural phenomena and leaves you feeling like you have entered a ghost house and you’re riding a roller coaster at the same time and is very thrilling in that sense. Why do people gravitate toward things that frighten them? Maybe it’s the surge of adrenaline or even the fear of the “unknown.” A good horror film often has a lot of suspense, leaving the viewer on the edge of their seat and wondering what will happen next. Although not all horror films must have blood and gore, they always strive to be frightful.
The Disappointing Factor
The movie does not have any disappointing factors other than the story. The story was left to just exist as a plot for a horror movie. They could have better developed it to make it a better horror movie but failed to do so. When creating a horror film, there are several elements to consider. One is to make sure that it is produced with a storyline that connects the film to the scares it offers, rather than merely being made for the scares. The second is to ensure that the scares are well-constructed and, at the same time, keep up with the movie’s pacing.
In-Depth Analysis
It’s said that when you come across a “ghost leading the way,” the individual will pass out or lose consciousness, but their feet will keep on moving. Their tomb and the underworld are two dreadful locations where those who meet “ghosts showing the way” may finally end up. Song Wanshan is a future flight attendant. She loses her memories after being saved. She was given the opportunity to explore the wilderness at this time by her other friends, which she took up immediately, but she unintentionally came across a ghost pointing the way and used magic to enter a derelict house in the middle of a graveyard. Unknown to Wanshan, she is being led down a path that has no return.
Star Power
The cast consists of Gina Jin as Song Wan Rong in the main role; Jiang Chao as Li Tian Lin; Zhu Xuan as Zhang Jia Yi; Deng Zi Yi as the Snake Witch; and Wang Mu Yao in supporting roles. The cast does an amazing job at portraying the fear they experience at each and every moment in the film and helps keep viewers glued to their screens and their seats.

Viewers who enjoy watching horror, thrillers, or supernatural films should not miss out on such a gem of a movie, which is rare to come across.
