The Feel-Good Part
There are no villains in the movie. Here the worst enemy is the disaster and not any greedy person who is ready to trade lives for some extra money. The people here fight against nature and disaster. This gives a more sensible and practical approach to the movie.
Another good thing is the storyline is excellent. It is touching and has a base so that the plot flows with enough amount of thrill that it keeps you on the edge of your seat all the time.
The Disappointing Factor
The special effects that are used in the movie are not very pleasing to look at and are not up to the mark. There are flaws in those special effects which are clearly visible. They seem fake at first glance and fabricated throughout the movie.
Another thing is that some scenes are illogical, and they fit nowhere in the movie or anywhere. They are defying the natural laws and rather showing the main lead as a superhero of some sort, which just doesn’t make sense because this is not a Marvel movie, we are watching but a typical natural disaster movie.

The characters are convincing, and the disaster is the only evil force that brings a realistic appeal to the movie. The main leads were ready to sacrifice their lives, keeping themselves in danger in order to save the lives of others.
The storyline keeps you engaged over the course of the movie and all the landslides and other natural disasters bring an equal thrill. The characters are all very convincing and bring across all the emotions. You’ll be crying and smiling at the same time.
The movie is shot in a beautiful place. Even in the face of a disaster, you can’t ignore the beauty of the high mountains and valleys. They are just serene to look at.

The star cast is fantastic. Yilong Zhu is a brilliant actor, and it was not a surprise when he showed his excellent skills in this movie yet aging. The supporting cast was also very good and gave a lot of emotional support throughout the movie.
