Drama Digest
My sassy psychic is a romantic-comedy Thai mystery drama. It revolves around Sonklin, a girl who started seeing spirits after she had a terrible accident. In addition, She can also see memories of people just by holding their hands. Sonklin started raising money using her abilities by helping the villagers to win lotteries. She used the money she got, for the treatment of her mother who was in a coma due to that accident. Since all of the predictions were true, villagers started seeing her as goddess Sonklin and praised her abilities. Saran is a cop who is assigned the responsibility of investigating a person called ‘Khun Moo’. Saran heard about Sonklin, and he approached her for helping him to solve his case. Sonklin agrees to help him to investigate Moo and his illegal activities. A Series of events lead to a romantic and passionate connection between them. What happens next? Can they solve the case? Will she get her mom back?
The Feel-Good Part
The drama is a collection of investigation, horror, mystery, and romance. Viewers could feel a strong connection between male and female leads. There are scenes of them going undercover to get pieces of information, which led to unexpected bonding between them. In addition, drama contains many comedy scenes that add a plus point. Sonklin’s interactions with her father’s spirit are great scenes.

Some events appeared to be not realistic. There is a lag in some of the scenes that may make viewers feel a bit bored.
In-Depth Analysis
Sonklin and Saran are on a secret mission against Moo. Sonklin wants her mother to wake from a coma. Sonklin can see the spirit of her father, who is dead, while she can’t find her mother’s, who is in coma. It is because her mother’s spirit is trapped in a place. Hence she can’t get her consciousness unless it is freed. It is also a story of a daughter trying to get back her mother alive. Sonklin’s powers got the attention of Pran, who is a ‘Takrut’ (amulet) scavenger. Takrut is a powerful barrier that can cause harm if it falls into wrong hands. Pran makes a deal with Sonklin to find him the Takrut, in turn, he will help with her mother. Takrut charms were hidden in five different places. The story proceeds through a lot of mysterious and exciting events. Alongside, Saran and Sonklin start to like each other, which leads to their romantic relationship. There are scenes where they go on a secret undercover mission as a part of an investigation which leads to their bonding. ‘My Sassy Psychic’ has an impressive and unique storyline with horror as well as a comedy touch. Other characters have a major role in making it funnier.
Star Power
Preem and Panjan did their role incredibly. They did a great job in bringing the characters amazingly. They were successful in expressing chemistry between them beautifully.
Overall Opinion
It is an interesting and adventurous romantic drama. Thai beliefs on the amulet and its importance are well portrayed. The relationship between the main leads is presented beautifully. There are interesting fantasy factors that make the drama amazing. Highly recommended drama. Plot development is surprisingly great. The mystery involved with Moo and Pran makes it more fascinating.
