Drama Digest
When Yu Dong Hoo (Kim Ji Joon) gets rejected by his crush ( Ha Eun ), he has low spirits and gets into an accident. Even though he is a kind friend to her online, he sends her playlists to comfort her and make her happy.
Unlike any other normal student, Ha Eun ( Su Min) is liked by many as well as envied by many. She doesn’t hate Yu Dong Hoo, she just has her battles.
Myungsung high school is in turmoil when a widely popular idol/influencer known as Big Daddy (Yoon Sanha) transfers as a transfer student. He falls in love with the class president (Ha Eun) at first sight.
Ha Eun’s life was not that simple. Students who are jealous of her would try to harass her with insults.
Meanwhile, another sophomore named Cha Won Young had a fallout with his best friend and wants to fix his friendship.
The Feel Good Part
The show describes teen life and struggles. Also depicts teen romance and its journey. The love triangle dangles the entire time. A high school life with ups and downs! Silly decisions and stubbornness, are everything a teen has. It has a pretty enjoyable soundtrack.
The Disappointing Factor
The main character is too stubborn and arrogant. The story is a bit odd and the main character is just a hypocrite? She says she doesn’t believe in love, but the next day she finds herself in love with someone online? A selfish person who only thinks about herself at any cost. 3 guys like her but she just insults and rejects them, though she has her reasons for it. The story doesn’t have a strong plotline.
In-Depth Analysis
This drama is directed by Kwak Bong Cheol. A series released in 2021, focuses on teen romance and friendship. A team of rookie actors and an odd plot. Its genre is youth as it is set in a high school environment. It’s a normal series despite its strange plot.
Star Power
Su Min plays the role of Ha Eun, a strong character with 3 admirers. Her character is described as strong, but in the series, she just seems rude and arrogant. Yoon Sanha plays the role of Big Daddy, one of the most popular idols in Korea. He has many fans who admire him, but he falls head over heels for the class president. Kim Ji Joon as Yu Dong Hoo who has a crush on Ha Eun.
Overall Opinion
It’s not that amazing and not so bad either, a bland story with no surprise. To be honest, it lacks the essence of realism despite the rookie actors’ efforts. The odd plot cannot be saved. a lot. If you want to watch something just for watching, then this series is it. The plot could be much better than this.
