Drama Digest:
The story starts with Lee Hwa Sun who is the police officer in The Seoul regional investigation unit. Her life was changed by a phone call. The phone call came from the murderer of her husband. He tells her to go to a place named ‘Mujisi.’
The people of Mujisi have been turning into demons after breathing in mysterious dark smoke from a sinkhole. To capture her husband’s murder, Lee Hwa Sun must have to fight to survive in that place.
On the other hand, Yoon Tae Han lived in Mujishi. He has a car that was wrecked. He is a carefree person and jokes around all day. Once he was a police officer, but due to some scandals by misunderstanding, he gave up on his job. He met with Lee Hwa Sun in the chaotic situation in Mujisi. He wants to save people’s lives from this danger. Can they save the people from this situation?
The Feel-Good Part:
This show is beautiful with full of twists and turns. There is a fine blend of thriller, mystery, drama. The drama gets exciting by per episode. The screen presentation is so good. the characters are so prominent in the drama. This production is pretty decent with regards to the technical aspects. The down-to-earth action sequences appear realistic. In contrast, the use of visual effects was appropriately utilized. The production design and the use of multiple filming locations seems well rendered. Screen editing and connecting plots are also magnificent.
The Disappointing Factor:
There are many subplots in this one show which makes the audience feel distracted. People get confused about the genre of the show. OST could have been better. After some episodes, the show was trying to rush things, and the ending could have been more satisfying. It seemed to have lost its track when it was heading to the end.
In-Depth Analysis:
The actions sequence and the exposure of the mysteries are so intriguing to watch in the show.
Star Power:
The primary cast did their roles pretty well. Lee Joon Hyuk played his charismatic and daring character pretty well throughout the drama, giving a satisfying result.
Kim Ok Bin did an alarming performance on her part. Her acting, the stunt scenes, and the moments she had to deal with the monster, everything was so accurate. Oh, Yu Jin, as a schoolgirl, did a remarkable job, too. All actors enhanced the show.
Overall Opinion:
This drama is pretty exciting to watch. The scenes are full of twists that will make you feel nervous. If you want a thriller mystery drama, then you should try it.
