Drama Digest:

The drama is based on a fresh graduate student named Seo Hae Won, who resides in a guest house. The guest house has a rooftop café called ‘Florida Banjeom’, which is a popular Chinese restaurant. People always come and go to the café. There is a constant hustle-bustle of people inside the café. On the other hand, Seo Hae Won is strongly disliked by the café owner and head chef, Baek Eun Kyu. Later, Seo Won started working in the café as a part-timer, being recommended by Cha Ji Soo, who is the co-owner of the café. Seo Won easily mingled with other workers in the café and even got some admirers due to his handsomeness. But he finds out that he fell in love with Baek Eun Kyu who seemed to be his enemy. What will Seo Won do? Will Baek Eun ever fall in love with Seo Won? Watch the drama to know how the story unravels.

The Feel-Good Part

The drama plot is based on a cafe and its workers. The love-hate relationship between the cafe owner cum head chef with a worker in the cafe is enjoyable to watch. They have pretty decent chemistry.

Kim Yoo Hwan as Eun Kyu and Cha Woo Min as Ha-won are good in their characters. Kim Yoo Hwan’s acting is spectacular. He can pull through the tiniest emotion in his face. His acting as Eun Kyu is the drama’s USP.

Star Power:

Kim Yoo Hwan’s acting is spectacular. Except for Kim Yoo Hwan as Eun Kyu, other casts are not that good in their roles.

The Disappointing Factor

The drama has a nice plot, and it could have become a good BL, but the execution is terrible. Hence the drama is not that enjoyable.

The characters are childish. Their behavior over arriving of handsome boys seems unrealistic. Except for Kim Yoo Hwan as Eun Kyu, other casts are not that good in their roles. They failed to portray their character.

Ha-won and Eun Kyu had chemistry, but they don’t have development in their relationship. It seems their relationship didn’t progress over time.

Ji Soo and Eun Guk have 15 years of friendship, but because of some guy, their fighting will annoy viewers. Besides, their past friendship tale is also not appropriately revealed. Joo Seo and Ha Jin’s characters are not clear.

In-Depth Analysis

This drama had the potential to be a good BL, but because of cliche script and acting, the drama failed to become one.

The relationship between the leads has no spark. You can’t feel their emotion. The plot is sometimes too rushed. Though this is a short drama there is a scope of decent portrayals of each character. The characters do not develop over eight episodes.

Their argument is sometimes too childish. Ji Soo’s character sometimes will annoy the viewers.

Overall Opinion

Overall this drama feels boring. If the viewers want to watch some good BL, then this is not a choice. Still, viewers can give it a try as per their choice, but they should not keep their expectations too high.
