Drama Digest

A story starts with a misunderstanding and ends in love.

Fuenglada, a high school girl, the father dies in an accident and thinks that Taen, a middle-aged widower, did it on purpose and is here to show off his money and marry her forcibly. She does marry him with a mission to deceive him and take all his inheritance, following her stepmother’s advice.

Taen is a good guy and wants to protect her from her stepmother. But by the time she realizes his genuine feelings, t might be too late.

The Feel-Good Part

The second lead couple. Their story was at least bearable and a little less annoying.

The Disappointing Factor

The age gap between the main characters. The guy is almost her father’s age and you may think that it might get better in the show, they might show us a different side to focus on but no, it just got worse.

In-Depth Analysis

Fuenglada is very close to her father but one day he collides with Taen’s car and dies in an accident. Taen is a rich businessman and widower with a daughter. He offers to marry Fuenglada on finding out that her stepmother, Soithong, is planning to use her to pay off her debts. Fuenglada thinks that he killed her father and agrees to marry him to take revenge.

Marn Bang Jai is a bland drama. The accident that happened was very unrealistic. The age gap is bothersome. They wanted to show the female lead cute and innocent but she just acts dumb. The villains are too much annoying and you will just feel like skipping their parts. They tried to execute the show in the best way possible but the storyline was just bad. The show can’t be saved from any angle.

Star Power

The acting is cumbersome. There are so many awkward moments in the show and the acting just made it more cringy.

Overall Opinion

The drama is substandard. The whole show is very ringy and the age gap thing just adds fuel to the fire. You can watch it for the second lead couple but they don’t have enough screen time to make it worth it.
