The Feel-Good Part

The story is well-written as it involves complex characters who are stuck in a world of corruption and crime that they engage with regularly. The plot progression is steady and consistent. This helps to keep the viewers hooked on the show as the mystery of the story unravels at a steady pace. The soundtrack of the show is beautiful as it adds a lot of flavor to the show and fits its tone perfectly, which creates an engaging viewing experience. The direction of the episodes is strong and visually appealing as filmmaking elements like cinematography and editing are well utilised to create suspense and make the audience feel a rush of emotions during intense scenes for more significant effect.

The Disappointing Factor

The story is pretty cliché and doesn’t stray away from the standard plot points of this genre, which makes it predictable and may make it boring to watch. The show has a slow start for the first two episodes. They waste a lot of time trying to establish the characters, which may come off as dull, leading the audience to drop the show almost instantaneously. The mystery and intrigue are inconsistent, which means that some subplots are more engaging than others, which will cause the audience to lose interest. The finale of the series is highly underwhelming as as it neither packs a punch by wrapping up the story, nor does it make complete sense. The show’s twists may come across as overly dramatic, which may distract viewers.

In-Depth Analysis

The drama is an entertaining watch despite its flaws because of the nature of its stories. People often want to see the lives of rich people and how they are corrupt. Many hit shows like Mine and Sky Castle are examples of this. The series focuses more on the mystery aspect of the show rather than deep diving into the characters’ lives.

Star Power

All the performances were excellent. The cast delivers their respective characters with nuance, which makes the audience connect with the characters well.

Overall Opinion

The series is entertaining for the most part, despite lacking several departments. Fans of shows like Sky Castle might enjoy this one too.
