Drama Digest –
Choi Soo Yeon is a free-spirited and lively college student who loses her phone. Due to this, various mishaps and misunderstandings between the main characters blossoms into true and pure love. Kye Hun Sol is a charming cafe owner who is well-behaved, and handles his life nicely. While he is a cafe owner, Yoo In Hae is a musical maestro who is somewhat Choi Soo Yeon’s mother, regardless of minimal age difference. All the characters meet into unfortunate situations and make an exciting journey of love, friendships and break ups, going through their respective ups and downs.
The Feel-Good Part –
This story showcases the real and actual life of a college student, a cafe owner, and a musical diva. All the highs, lows, struggles, and pain is shown in the series. Choi Soo Yeon is a spirited college student who lives with her uncle after her parents passed away in a car accident when she was young. Her life of living with her uncle due to the demise of her parents at a young age is also highlighted, where her struggles and pain is shown nicely. Despite having a tough time dealing with her life issues, she always keeps her head high and lives a life being positive and optimistic.
The Disappointing Factor –
The show is short for the type of content it shows, and the duration is also less enough. The story revolves around the four young characters, and it somewhat ignores the other characters from the story. Choi Soo Yeon is highlighted the most and given the most screen time, which does no justice to the other main characters in the show. This type of content has already been made multiple times in the Korean drama industry, so there is no uniqueness in the plotline.
In-Depth Analysis –
The shining part of the story is how different young individuals deal with daily life. Choi Soo Yeon develops a romantic relationship with Kye Han Sol and deals with that fun awkwardness coming with it. Kim Seung Woo’s writing, directing, and acting in the series is unique for a single individual wearing so many hats and taking so many responsibilities. It is a light and fun series which sees life in an optimistic light.
Star Power –
Kye Han Sol is another main character of the series after Choi Soo Yeon where he is a charismatic and well-mannered cafe owner who is full of good vibes and a nice manner. He is handsome and intricate for his life’s responsibilities, and his clash with Choi Soo Yeon creates a romantic fusion between the two. Yoo In Hae is a musical master who loves the art she works on. She is considerate and kind to her friend Choi Soo Yeon and cares for her. She deals with her as a mother, and that is very nice and heartwarming to watch.
Overall Opinion –
Someone who wishes to watch a fun and lively romantic comedy will love the show.
