Drama Digest

An incomprehensible incident initiates a genius engineer to hazardous secrets of the world. Also to a woman from the future who has came looking for him. Han Tae Sul is a co-founder of Quantum and Time, he is a engineer with high level coding skills and excellent looks that evaluates his fashion sense. Quantum and Time is a world-class corporation due to his attainments. The company is dubbed as The Miracle of South Korea’s Engineering Industry.  But the fact is that Tae Sul caused the company’s stock to fluctuate after his brother death. He noticed something unimaginable. He sets a dangerous journey to find out the truth. Kang Seo Hae, is a survivor of future dystopian world. She has learned the survival skills from living amongst gangsters and warlords. In order to save Han Tae Sul, she travels back.

The Feel-Good Part

The choreography is outstanding. It involved pretty impressive military hardware. The overall action scenes were great. The romance was beautifully and convincingly articulated. Tae Sul and Seo Hae as a pair made sense. They were fighting against the odd to change their fate. The concept of time travel hits with a different vibe.

The Disappointing Factor

The science that is depicted in the show was messy. Many technical aspects were left open. Sometimes, simultaneously going flashbacks and flash-forwards were confusing.

In-Depth Analysis

The story revolves around a woman from the future travels back in tune to alter the course of history by staving off the fate that befell the country. The drama is a mix of fiction, action, and drama. The parallel narrative and plot format is used to tell the story. Various characters in multiple timelines used flashbacks and flash-forwards. The finale episode was mind-blowing.

Star Power

The main leads were fantastic. Cho Seung Woo and Park Shin Hye fully embodies their characters. They delivered strong performances aa deeply flawed and emotionally scarred individuals. The supporting cast also depicted such characterization. Lee Joo Won played the young Seo Won Ju and he gave a chilling portrayal.

Overall Opinion

This is an intriguing drama. The drama is highly recommend for entertainment.
