Drama digest

The comic timing is amazing in the series. Besides, the relationship shared by some male characters is the highlight of the series. Dialogues are written well, and there is no unwanted melodrama attached to them. The editing is also commendable.

There are some scenes in the drama wherein you tend to feel that there is no logic behind them. Besides, certain holes like the process of Seon Ho getting into the police university and surpassing the major task of being removed are not explained clearly. The drama struggles to do justice to both the crime and romance genres and proves sloppy sometimes.

The drama is set in the backdrop of a police university, which is seldom handled in past TV series. Though there are certain clichés in the drama, it is fun to watch it. There is sufficient campus romance in the series. One would be reminded of their energetic college days while watching the series. Thus, it can be said that it has both the mirth and romance of a youth drama and the excitement got from an investigation drama.
Star power
The characters in the series don’t test your patience. They all have understood their parts well. However, one would feel that the series could have done more justice to Oh Kang Hee’s role. She is not given the much-needed weight to her role until the later part of the series.
Overall opinion
The drama manages to tickle your funny bones besides being a romantic one. Moreover, the youth’s ambitious spirit compensates for the flaws in the series.
