Drama Digest

Jihwa-dong is a shabby old town which has its beauty if looked at carefully as everyone here has their secrets. Many crimes are still buried here with bystanders watching, and someone lurking in the shadows can be found in this morbid place. Eun Gye Hoo opened a small restaurant in this neighbourhood as it also happens to be the place his twin sister disappeared twenty years ago. He suddenly experiences emotions that he does not want one day and spontaneously experiences a wave of emotions to cry, laugh and be confused about this unusual disease. After a while, he figures that these are the emotions of a girl named Noh Da Hyun. They somehow have been linked through emotions as the emotions felt by her are also experienced by him.

The Feel-Good Part

This series provides a unique blend of romance, fantasy, and mystery that keeps the audience guessing with every surprising reveal. It follows two strangers connected through unexplainable factors that slowly help them attract each other. It also captures a murder mystery surrounding a dark neighbourhood and the past connections with the lead couple. It is fast-paced and speculative with a gripping plot progression. The acting performances by the lead actors are mind-blowing and match their characters well. Their on-screen chemistry also makes viewers swoon and joyful while watching. The musical aspects with brilliant cinematography also elevate the entire series, which keeps the adrenaline flowing in thrilling moments. The light comedy is an uplifting and enjoyable aspect with a much darker theme. Each layer peels into another subplot that explores the main story in some ways. It provides for an entertaining and engaging experience.

The Disappointing Factor

The plots seem too convenient at times. Their romantic aspects are clichéd. There are some dragged episodes and repetitive parts that can make audiences frustrated. There are stretched-out and unnecessary plotlines which might still work if cut down. There are too many unanswered questions, which might have a disappointing ending.
