Drama Digest

Once, Kok-Du (Kim Jung-Hyun) attracted the anger of God. He received a grim reaper transformation as retribution for his misdeeds. He is chilly and ruthless like the grim reaper. He is tasked with guiding the dead to the afterlife. Kok-Du descends to our planet once every 99 years in a human body that resembles him exactly. He puts the deservingly dead to death. He enters this realm this time and takes over Do Jin-bod’s body. Woo’s He later starts dating Han Gye-Jeol (Lim Soo-Hyang). Working as a visiting physician is Han Gye-Jeol. She is terrified of those who despise her qualifications because she graduated from the nation’s lowest-ranked medical school. She only has her younger brother because her mother passed away when she was a little girl. There is no one who genuinely cares about her. Do Jin-Woo is the first person in her life to stand by her when he initially comes in front of her. He has influenced the way she lives her life.

The Feel-Good Part

This drama has its own charm; ignoring the many factors that contribute to its overall appeal, we can concentrate on the cast and how they portray each emotion to the point. You feel all the characters emotions and feel like you are part of the story and experiencing it yourself.

The Disappointing Factor

The FL had an erratic line of work. FL was supposed to be an emergency physician, but when conditions called for immediate medical attention, FL was helpless. Emergency room doctors must respond quickly; the FL character never did in any circumstance. She in no way appeared to have any medical experience, so she might as well have been something else that might have been relevant in this story and made her role appear in the slightest sense realistic. This narrative might have been more credible if they had stated FL was an office administrator without any medical training.

In-Depth Analysis

In the history of Korea, there lived a human guy named Kokdu (Kim Jung Hyun). He is now an eternal reaper, summoned by the gods to visit the mortal world once every 99 years to cruelly punish people for their weakness and fragility. He has grown to hate others and is now ruthless and vicious. This time, he “possesses” the body of a brilliant young doctor called Do Jin Woo as he enters the mortal realm (also played by Kim Jung Hyun). Yet when he has to carry out Do Jin Woo’s medical obligations, his goal of guiding souls to the hereafter is jeopardized. As a result, he meets Han Gye Jeol (Im Soo Hyang), a physician who received his medical degree from South Korea’s lowest-ranked medical institution. Kokdu learns that Han Gye Jeol has intriguing abilities despite her unimpressive past and that she appears to have him under her spell. Might his destiny have been linked to hers in a previous life? Why is it that she can so completely enchant him? Will he succeed in his quest, or may love cause it to fail?

Star Power

Kim Jung Hyun as Kkok Du, Do Jin Woo, or Oh Hyun is amazing, and he does perform exceptionally well. Im Soo Hyang as Han Gye Jeol (or Seol Hui) is stiff and poorly written, and one can only hope that she gets away from such roles.

Overall Opinion

This drama might as well be a filler drama that you can watch just to pass some time.
