Drama Digest

A romantic comedy about a newscaster with hyperthymesia who recalls all 8760 hours of the year and a popular actress who lives her life passionately. This is a story about a man who can’t forget and a lady who has forgotten an important memory. They appear to be in opposing positions, but both are in pain. They comprehend, love, and heal one another. The narrative teaches us that when we stick together, we can overcome anything and that everything will work out in the end, so we shouldn’t be afraid.

The Feel-Good Part

The plot takes a few unexpected turns, but nothing too shocking, and all of the concerns are neatly wrapped up with a wonderful ribbon. This drama’s mystery/thriller components may surprise you, but it manages to strike a beautiful balance with the surrounding lesser plotlines and the main romance. This drama has a subtle yet beautiful quality to it.

The Disappointing Factor

It seemed unique in terms of execution, characters, and plot, yet it was hampered by several ‘Kdrama norms’ that this excellent story might have done without.

However, by the end, the drama had gotten out of hand. There were too many cliché tropes in the plot, and the mystery became tedious.

In-Depth Analysis

The plot centers on a guy who suffers from hyperthymesia, a disorder that causes people to remember an excessively large number of their life events in vivid detail, and a lady who has forgotten the most significant events in her life. Two persons with similar scars come across each other by chance one day and fall in love. Jeong Hoon is the host of a popular news show with excellent viewership. Jeong Hoon’s great body figure and gorgeous face make him look good in a suit. Despite his mild demeanor, he suddenly transforms into a tyrant and begins asking hostile questions to whoever it is. Since childhood, he has had hyperthymesia, which causes him to remember everything that happens every day of the year. He can’t get rid of the thought of Seo Yeon, the lady he loved who vanished eight years ago. At that point, Ha Jin, a rising star who commands everyone’s attention, comes in front of Jeong Hoon. Despite all of the attention, Ha Jin maintains her self-assurance. She does, however, have a secret: her memory is deteriorating. The man who is unable to forget and the lady whose memory is fading. Will they be able to overcome their obstacles, understand one another, and eventually fall in love?

Star Power

Overall, the acting was good. Moon Ga Young has complete control over my heart. She was perfect as Yeo Ha Jin, delivering a subtle and brilliant performance. This part was tailor-made for her.

Lee Jung Hoon and Ha Jin were imperfectly ideal for one other, and their romance blossomed. The chemistry between Dong Wook and Ga Young was incredible, and we even got to see actual kisses! God’s blessings!

Overall Opinion

The first half was fantastic, with a well-crafted mystery, excellent photography, particularly in the sequences with snow, a delicate and slow-burn romance, and a news reporting backdrop. Every actor and actress in the cast gave outstanding performances. In addition, the primary couple had chemistry, which assisted with the unusual romance.
