Drama Digest
The storyline follows two women who reset their lives after facing challenges. One of them is too concerned about their career and the other about family. It is a romance story of a divorce diagnosed with cancer and a man who is a single parent.
The Feel-Good Part
The show provided some excellent concepts that mainstream Korean shows fail in showing, such as child depression, homosexuality, and family abuse. The characters portrayed the chemistry and all the conflicts well. As the name goes by, “Amor Fati” says- “Love of one’s fate”, it compliments all the characters in the show. The show is all about the hardships and grief that they go through in life and how they overcome it all in the company of friends and family.
The Disappointing Factor
The ending of the show is quite unsatisfactory. They gave the main characters a pleasant conclusion, yet they wrapped the side character stories up in the last episode. Yu Na did not have to repay her actions as the conclusion received the most criticism.
In-Depth Analysis
Do Yeon Hee was married to an only child of a family. She runs the Rara Group and her life seems perfect. She finds her husband cheating on her and, hence, gets divorced. Besides, Han Jae Kyeong is a professional golfer. His wife, who is too concerned about her career, leaves the country for further studies. Han Jae Kyeong then quit golf and becomes an instructor at a practice center. He single-handedly raises his son after his wife leaves. When she returned, she asked for a divorce. Do Yeon Hee and Han Jae Kyeong meet each other and their lives change as their sorrows go away.
Star Power
The characters played their part well and deployed all the emotions and life lessons till the end. The drama, being a morning drama, received a lot of recognition.
Overall Opinion
This drama is an excellent choice for a comfort show. It is simple and light-hearted. The 120-episode-long investment is totally worth it.
