Drama Digest –
Chen Xiao Xi and Jiang Chen are neighbours and classmates. Chen Xiao Xi likes and admires Jiang Chen, the popular guy of the school known for his good looks and high grades. Along with their two friends, the funny Lu Yang and the athletic Jing Xiao and Wu Bo Song, they all live their life to the fullest of their high school life until they all go separate and leave for different pathways in university. A show portraying the highschool life and the attraction times is cute to watch. It is a beautiful slice-of-life story.
The Feel-Good Part –
This story showcases the genuine life of a high school student. All the highs, lows, struggles, and pain is shown in the series. While Chen Xiao Xi, Jiang Chen, Jing Xiao, Lu Yang and Wu Bo Song are high school students, this segment portraying her pains, rushes and intimidating moments looks real and honest. Their life of living a life full of education, occasional admiration and fun is also highlighted, where her struggles and pain is shown nicely. Despite having a tough time dealing with her life issues, they always keep their head high and live a life being optimistic.
The Disappointing Factor –
The show is short for the type of content it shows, and the duration is also enough. The story revolves around the five young characters, and it somewhat ignores the other characters from the story. The main characters, Jiang Chen and Chen Xiao Xi are highlighted the most and given the most screen time, which does no justice to the other main characters in the show. This type of content has already been made multiple times in the drama industry, so there is no uniqueness in the plotline.
In-Depth Analysis –
The shining part of the story is how different young individuals deal with daily life. While Chen Xiao Xi deals with her rare admiration for Jiang Chen, but also issues related to her academic life and deals with that fun awkwardness coming with it. The writing, directing, and acting in the series is unique for wearing so many hats and taking so many responsibilities in every sector is applaudable. It is a light and fun series that sees life in a favourable light. They will never be the same after this.
Star Power –
Wu Bo Song is another main character of the series after Jiang Chen and Chen Xiao Xi where he is a charismatic and well-mannered enthusiastic swimmer who is full of good vibes and a nice manner. He is handsome and intricate for his life’s responsibilities, and his clash with others creates a fun fusion with others. Jing Xiao is an athletic enthusiast who loves the art she works on. She is considerate and kind to her friends and cares for them. She deals with her life well, which is very nice and heartwarming to watch.
Overall Opinion –
Someone who wishes to watch a fun and lively romantic comedy will love the show.
