Drama Digest

Jung Da Jung and Hong Dae Young have been married for 20 years and have a comfortable home life. Their two children, Hong Siah and Hong Shiwoo, are their pride and joy. They put in a lot of effort to create a loving home, but things started to break apart. Da Jung has been putting up with Da Young’s constant nonsense to the point of exhaustion. He also loses his job, and Da Jung finally gives up and files for divorce.

The Feel-Good Part

This is a heartwarming and moving family drama. Each character was brilliantly represented. It deals with struggles and the sacrifices parents make after they have children, as well as family love and affection. It also addresses psychological concerns. The plot does not dull the audience; rather, it piques their interest in watching the next episode. The drama’s OST is also excellent.

It also deviates from the plot for the majority of the episode. The never-ending split at the end was also exhausting to watch.

He regains his youth through magical means and is given the opportunity to live the life he may have had. It was amusing and touching to see him re-acquaint himself with his own children and re-acquaint himself with his family.

Star Power

Kim Ha Neul (Jung Da Jung), Yoon Sang Hyun (Hong Dae Young)  [Adult] and Lee Do Hyun  (Hong Dae Young) [Teen –  Go Woo Young] was the perfect casting for the show. Lee Do Hyun did a great job playing an older person and

Overall Opinion

A narrative that depicts the realities of marriage rather than romanticising it like most romances do. It’s entertaining and heartfelt.
