Drama Digest

The story begins with the death of Arita Kentaro, a well-known lawyer. He was in the press for a few days due to an extramarital affair with a famous actress. However, two days later, his body was discovered near a hotel with the note I want to kill again. The case remains unresolved due to the lack of evidence revealed in the investigation. However, five years later, a man was discovered burned to death beside a river. Another inquiry reveals that the man had an identical note that reads, I want to kill again. The metropolitan police detectives, Yashiro Tomo and Narumi Risa discovered a link between the two murder cases. Is it a serial killer or a person seeking vengeance? What is the connection between the two people who have died? Will the two female detectives be successful in solving the cases? Watch the drama to immerse yourself in the mystery.

The Feel-Good Part

The plot is engaging and well-written. The best part is figuring out a puzzle with absolutely no obvious hints. The crucial characters are not male as seen in typical dramas; instead, the two main characters are females, with males in supporting roles. The suspense and well-paced mystery solving are the highlights.

The Disappointing Factor

This drama may work well for Japanese audiences, but international fans will need to pay close attention to the subtitles to stay up with the plot. The murders and mysteries may be perplexing owing to bizarre scenarios such as a scene chess game to keep up with the plotline. The show contains a lot of intellectual dialogue advancement that is difficult to comprehend for average viewers.

In-Depth Analysis

The story is on the novel Keishichou Bunsho Sousakan by Kazushi Asami. With the twists and revelations, the build-up suspense was exciting and captivating. The drama has a female main character who is investigating a crime. Compared to many other Chinese or Thai investigation dramas, it is brief. In a murder mystery, the plot captures the Japanese characters. It may appear to be a typical crime drama, but believe me when I say that film has a unique tone.

Star Power

Yashiro Tomo and Narumi Risa are the primary characters, played by Haru and Suzuki Kyoka. In comparison to their prior work, both have done a skillful job. The support characters did an excellent job as well.

Overall Opinion

Overall, it is a decent crime investigation drama with a quick pace. With a reasonable production budget, the crime build-up worked out great. The actors were competent, but their past roles served them better, so do not make conclusions about them. At the very least, it is an intriguing, strange, and intellectual drama to see at work. However, whether you enjoy Japanese-style murder mysteries remains to be seen.
