Drama Digest
As a young child, Hakuro loses his father under tragic circumstances and his mother remarries. His step-father is Yagami Yasuharu from the famous and rich Hagami family.
Hakuro is linked to them through his mother yet does not feel like he is part of the family. He is often compared to his half-brother Akito, who is of the same blood as Yasuharu.
When Hakuro’s mother passes away, he leaves the family and drops the Yagami name. He has no connection to the family or the members.
He grows up to be a veterinarian and works as a Deputy Director in an animal clinic. He is honest, and just but has a weakness for beautiful women.
One day, a beautiful, mysterious woman Kaede claims to be his half-brother’s wife visits him, asking for help in search of his brother. The wife believes that his brother has been taken away by a relative as he is set to inherit three billion yen from his sick father.
Since Hakuro cannot say to beautiful women, he agrees to help her. Both of them set to search for his brother and in the process, he gets embroiled in a Yagami family battle.
Will they succeed to find Akito before it is too late? Who is the mysterious woman? And who is the mastermind behind the activities?
The series answers all of these questions.
The Feel-Good Part
The suspense and thrills are on point. It keeps the audience hooked till the end. The visuals, sound effects, and costumes are marvelous.
Also, both the male and female leads’ performances are wonderful and they keep you hooked.
While there are other movies in the same genre, this movie is still different. The climax is fabulous

In-Depth Analysis
Every human in this world has strengths and weaknesses. Our ML Hakuro is no different. While he is devoted to animal welfare and has a sense of justice and sincerity, he has a soft spot for pretty women.
He leaves a past and family behind as he feels no connection with them even though his mother is married and is part of the family. He also believes that his half-brother Akito is favored as he shares the same blood as the step-father.
But when Akito’s so-called wife Kaede requests his help to find him, he readily agrees as she is an attractive woman. She is certain that one of the family members has abducted Akito as he is set to get a large inheritance from his ailing father.
In the process, Hakuro becomes part of a family situation within the family that he wanted to avoid. The series traces their search for Akito and the reason behind his abduction.
Star Power
Tsumabuki Satoshi as Hakuro and Yoshitaka Yuriko as Kaede is fabulous in their roles. They are supported well by the other cast members.
Overall Opinion
It is a must-watch series as the suspense is superb.
