Drama Digest

Aye Myint, a young man from Myanmar, loves Japanese manga and aspires to be a manga artist. Following his dreams, he arrives in Japan with a limited budget and is stunned by the expensive rent. He is delighted to find a home at a super discount and makes a snap decision to rent it. However, he finds himself with an unexpected roommate. With no other choice, Aye Myint finds himself living with a fair-skinned, dark-haired ghost.

The Feel Good Part

It is fascinating to see the main character stumble through his work life and finances while being faced with a supernatural being hovering over him. The peculiarities of his neighbors and his coworkers add an exciting backdrop. The most catchy part of the whole drama is the sweet nature of Aye Myint and his vigor to pursue his dreams. The mystery surrounding the ghost’s death adds a supernatural touch to the exhausting life of the main character.

The Disappointing Factor

The mysterious ghost that appears in Aye Myint’s apartment shows several talents. A detailed account of her life before she became a ghost would have been interesting. There have been touches on her past, but a more detailed account is desired. The other mysterious man, Sako Yuzo, also requires more attention with his crucial role and unexpected appearances around the main character. They have performed admirably in their roles, but a little background information on them can go a long way.

In-Depth Analysis

Aye Myint wins a manga competition and flies to Japan to live out his dream of becoming a manga artist. His limited budget makes it unimaginably difficult for him to buy an apartment in Japan, but he eventually finds accommodation at a bargain and decides to move in. However, it is a 40-year-old building, and the neighbors have their own quirks. As Aye Myint struggles through the gap between the life he imagined and the one he is living in Japan, he is suddenly imposed on by a black-haired female ghost in his apartment!

It is great to see the characters develop an unnatural relationship with each other. The actors did justice to their roles, making the drama immensely interesting and fun to watch. The twists and turns in the story, enveloped in comedy, keep you hooked on the show. The mystery is never-ending and always a surprise, keeping you on the edge. It is also interesting to see the workings of the manga world in Japan.

Star Power

Morisaki Win as Aye Myint will melt your heart with his sweetness. The supporting roles as well as the lead roles in this drama have all been acted with exceptional ability.

Overall Opinion

If you like supernatural romance and comedy, this Japanese drama is a must-watch! The romance and the mystery will keep you thoroughly entertained.
