Dongengers: Nice Buddy is the second season of the anime Dongengers. The anime is about the local heroes of Japan. It starts with a parody of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The anime tells us about how one becomes a superhero. Not only do their superpowers make them heroes, but there is more to it than becoming a hero. All six of them have a muscular buddy among them. They are not only their strength, but they also teach and learn from one another.

The Feel-Good Part

Tokusatsu is a genre that is popular in the home country of anime and international countries as well. Dongengers was one of the popular shows in Japan. And this is the second season, with the shenanigans of superheroes. The first season was trendy, so everyone was excited about the second season. The art and graphics used are good. The depiction of characters as superheroes is done well. It is a simple drama to watch without taking the plot seriously.

The Disappointing Factor

It’s a light anime, so you can’t think deeply about it. The story becomes slightly slow-paced after a while. The storyline feels a little bit stretched. The plot is good, but it could be more expressive. The background music at some places are not exactly matching with the situation.

In-Depth Analysis

Tokusatsu is a genre that both adults and children enjoy equally. The Dongengers enjoyed their popularity after they saved Fukuoka from Yabai Kamen. But it didn’t last long. The Buddy system also Shows the emotions between friends or family.

Star Power

Kishi Yuji and Masaki Kaoru are the main characters of the show. Katsuhiro Suzuki plays Riku, and Kamen Rider plays Great-Z’s suit actor. Both actors are essential to the feelings of Great Z. They both played the characters well. They all did well in depicting the superhero characters. There is a lot to learn from the personalities of the characters and the values in the plot. The voice actors did great in making the scenes exciting.
