Drama Digest

Mei was a fabled witch who was also a member of a fabled valiant troop. As Satan attempted to engulf the earth in his terrible might, the heroic group defeated him. The earth was once again tranquil when Satan was imprisoned. Mei is now a housewife, struggling to raise her infant child. Mei’s days are otherwise serene and routine, but she learns that Satan has been resurrected after being sealed.

The Feel-Good Part

Kudos to the actor and all of the participating artists, whose great acting overcame the flaws and provided us with a lot of laughter with a strong Japanese flavor.

The Disappointing Factor

A modest budget for sets; instead, they focus on actors and costumes, as well as some Nintendo-style game graphics, as many viewers are drawn to the film’s lackluster visuals. Quick comedic timing and sheer absurdity are key qualities of Japanese dramas and films which are very common.

In-Depth Analysis

Mei is a renowned wizard who took part in a mission to defeat the Demon King’s attempt to take over the world and bring peace to the planet. Mei is now a full-time housewife, raising her 8-month-old newborn daughter Satsuki and doing all of the housekeeping on her own. The King sends his officer Kato to Mei’s house one day. The Demon King has reawakened after the seal was broken, according to her, and appears to have seized cities along the border with a quick invasion of their land. The Demon King must be subdued, according to the King. Mei, on the other hand, objects. In her current condition, it’s impossible. Her husband Mob is unpredictable, and there is no room for her baby in nursery school. But she takes the risk, entrusting Satsuki to Mob while she attends a party to commemorate the famed group’s return. Although the members are overjoyed to be reunited, they each have their concerns. In their quest to defeat the Demon King, they will undoubtedly face challenges.

Star Power

Atsuko Maeda portrays Mei, a legendary wizard who once defeated the Demon King. Even though she is married, she is now battling it out on her own to raise her child and perform the housekeeping. She is a first-time mother with an 8-month-old infant daughter Satsuki, and she is unable to inform her husband Mob, who refuses to participate in raising their child together.

Overall Opinion

This show is for you if you enjoy dramas and desire a plot that combines humor, drama, and mystery. It can also teach numerous life lessons, such as how they overcame all obstacles to achieve peace in their life.
