Drama Digest
The story is about Lilies and Huge. Huge is a mysterious creature threatening the lives of people on Earth. The whole world unites together to fight against this threat. The Feel-Good Part
The best and most exciting part is where Yuyu’s (a lily girl) feelings and her craziness side collides. The relationship between Riri and Yuyu will keep you watching this story. The way Yuyu controls her madness and the mystery of Yuyu’s past will make you curious. The sound and theme music make the story more enjoyable.
The Disappointing Factor
The episodes are so disconnected from each other. The lack of continuity between episodes of this show is an issue. Every episode will make you feel that story is just getting into first gear. The results of poor group planning are more apparent. At some points, the lack of information is also an issue. They could have explained the concepts more clearly. Also, they haven’t shown anything about Yuyu’s past clearly. The people watching it for swordfights may feel disappointed.
In-Depth Analysis
On Earth, soon humankind has the biggest threat from some mysterious creatures named Huge. To protect the world from these creatures, the soldiers in the form of teenage girls known as the Lilies use the energy “Magie” within their bodies to power weapons called “Counter Huge ARMS” or “CHARMS.”
The main character ‘Riri Hitotsuyanagi’ was saved by a Lily two years ago while evacuating from a Huge attack on the earth. After that day, she vowed to become a lily and enrolled in the most prestigious academy of Yurigaoka. She met a girl named ‘Yuyu Shirai’- the same lily who rescued her from a Huge attack. She tries to be friendly with her, but Yuyu turns out to be an antisocial girl who prefers to fight alone. Even then, Riri desires to become a partner with Yuyu.
The drama is more like a promotion of their upcoming game. The animations and theme music makes it more enjoyable. The relationship between Yuyu and Riri is quite interesting.
