Drama Digest

This drama adaptation is based on Taniguchi Jiro’s distinctive manga, characterized by minimal text. The story unfolds solely through silence as the protagonist, portrayed by Arata, explores various breathtaking locations in Japan during his leisurely walks.

The Feel-Good Part

This series is an ideal option for a blend of relaxation and information. It is very soothing and relaxing to watch.

The Disappointing Factor

The show needs proper subtitles.

In-Depth Analysis

Who nowadays has the time to climb a tree without shoes? Or to pause and watch the birds’ activities? Or to have fun in puddles after the rain? Or to put a seashell back in the ocean? The TV show “The Walking Man” follows a modern Japanese businessman as he casually walks around urban Japan. He’s often quiet and by himself, lost in his vivid dreams that make time feel slow. This drama is truly one-of-a-kind. I’ve never come across anything similar before. It’s fascinating how they feature different places in Japan during the show and then give you information about those locations at the end.

Star Power

The cast of the series only included of a few characters. The main role played by Iura Arata. The supporting roles were played by Nukumizu Yoichi, Tabata Tomoko, Takei Rino, Yuki-chan, Yagishita Kouga, and Eguchi Sota

Overall Opinion

It is a very different drama. I would suggest everyone to watch this piece.
