The programme isn’t just bad in terms of writing; it’s also bad in terms of directing and cinematography.

There are a lot of scenes in the show that aren’t required.
In-Depth Analysis
The very first episode begins with Xia dreaming of her boss proposing to her and having some romance in front of the whole office staff in the office. But she wakes up and soon gets the reality check.
She rushes off the office and later on the whole day just daydreams of the same story. The entire episode is wasted just with that.
The narrative of this series doesn’t make sense anywhere. The story itself is a result of poor writing, then; what else can we expect from the screenplay?
The scene in the elevator where her senior farts is a complete waste of time. I’m not sure what kind of humour the creators saw in it. Isn’t the plot excellent enough to put it in the ‘comedy’ category? Is that how the creators justify the response?
There is a scene where she jumps on the back seat of a delivery boy’s bike. The cinematography in this scene was as terrible as they took a low angle with a jump cut to mid-shot. It proves how immature the makers are. Not only this scene but, there are also more scenes where we encounter the worst performances of the makers along with the ridiculous direction.
The neighbourhood around the office is too congested, and the employees are there to have a good time. They simply sit in front of a blank screen and converse with their co-workers. Xia, the show’s star, follows the same pattern. She does the same thing, as well as flirting with her employer.
Star Power
Zhang Dong Zi, who plays the major role of ‘Xia Xiao Wang,’ does a fantastic job in the role of the immature character. But her crush boss is treated unfairly, who could have done so much better if it hadn’t been for the awful writing.
Overall Opinion
The actors and crew of ‘Your Image is Ruined’ definitely ruined their image by working on this production, as the title suggests. Even a new adolescent would avoid watching the show.
The show’s degree of immaturity will do nothing but waste your time. As a result, it is not suggested that you watch this show because it will not entertain you.
