Drama Digest
The story revolves around Yan Jhing Zhi who is a rich man and the president of the Bojue Group. He has just returned from the US. Jhing Zi is a great guy but has a mild obsessive compulsive disorder. He requires everything to be perfectly neat and clean and on its spot. He is a very demanding boss and also a workaholic. Jhing Zi lost his mother when he was a kid which left him with a negative deep physiological impact. He tends to forget his memories whenever he is over stimulated with love. This is exactly what happened to him and he lost a part of his memory, of about five years before. He met with Nie Xeng Chen who was a secretary for Zhao Yuan Fang, who is Jheng Zi’s friend. Jheng Zi could instantly feel a bond with her and wanted to appoint her as his own personal secretary, but she rejected him. Xing Chen is a hardworking and smart person. She has a very cheerful and confident personality and people around her love her for who she is. She belongs to a working class family and her parents adore her. However, Xing Chen ended up becoming his secretary. As they spend time together and get to know each other better, Jheng Zi is certain that Xing Chen is connected to his past somehow, but Xing Chen denies it all along. They form a close bond together and eventually fall in love. They begin to experience various issues and troubles as a couple and realize that they have known each other throughout their lives. The Feel Good Part
The show has some great humor. There is also a good amount of office romance which makes it exciting to watch. The script is quite well-written too. The drama basically revolves around Jheng Zi and his illness which makes the show very curious-filled.
The Disappointing Factor
The show is great, besides a few minor flaws. The plot of the show was not very good and was more like of a basic story. There were a few much exaggerated scenes which were not necessary and made the interest go down for a while. The show certainly has great potential and the storyline could have been much better,
In-Depth Analysis
The show includes a lot of ups and downs for the couples and their other relationships. They particularly go through so many struggles together and also individually. The show also takes a step forward to a few years in between as well. Jheng Zi ended up losing his memory a couple of times which made the curiosity of the viewers go up and down. Some liked the shift in the stories due to his memory loss and some just wanted the couple to have a normal relationship without any issues. The female lead deals with the male lead with a lot of love and patience. He is instantly attracted to her over and over again due to her down-to-earth nature and her way of handling things for him. The two share a very sweet and understanding bond which was very sweet to watch. The rest of the couples were super cute as well. The best part of the series was that each and every one of them got a sweet and happy ending which was well deserved. The main leads end up marrying each other which was such a delight to watch after seeing them struggle for years to be happy together.
Star Power
The cast of the entire series was excellent. They did their roles so well and so professionally. Xuan Lu played the role of Xeng Cheng and Zhao Zhi Wei played the role of Yan Jheng Zi, the main leads. They great chemistry together and shared a beautiful bond. The supporting cast did an incredible job too! Liu Yin Jun played the role of Zhao Yuan Fang, Wang Jia Yin played the role of Zhen Nian, Liu Yu Chang played the role of Han Zi Yu, and Zhao Zheng Yang played the role of Huang Tao etc.
Overall Opinion
With good humor, great cast and romantic scenes, the entire show is great and well executed. If you love rom-coms, this show will surely entice you!
