This story revolves around Chu You Wen who is raised by wolves and gets adopted by the first Emperor of the Yang dynasty and becomes his son. Being around the wolves he develops keen and unnatural senses. He meets Ma Zhai Xing who is a daughter of a government official and they become friends. After going through a lot of difficulties they both fight the harsh government and have their happiness. Ji Chong is a wanderer who falls in love with Zhai Xing.

The Feel-Good Part

The story is good and the characters are well developed. The chemistry between the leads is great. Even the second lead is outstanding in both his acting and character development.

The Disappointing Factor

The story, acting, and costumes are all good but CGI effects are not good which kind of ruined some scenes. There are 49 episodes, which is a lot to watch and might be tiresome for viewers but the story keeps us hooked.

In-Depth Analysis

This story revolves around Chu You Wen who is raised by wolves and gets adopted by the first Emperor of the Yang dynasty and becomes his son. Being around the wolves he develops keen and unnatural senses. He meets Ma Zhai Xing who is a daughter of a government official and they become good friends. You-wen is unaware of the ways of society and how to behave. He ends up offending some powerful people, he gets injured after fighting them as he is thrown off a cliff. The Yang ruler finds out about him and searches for him to use his powers, he finds him and adopts him as his son and keeps his origin a secret. He is given the title of a royal prince. After eight years he meets Zhai Xing again and their emotions resurface. They fight the tough government and help the people. They fall in love with each other and find happiness together. Ji Chong is a wanderer who falls in love with Zhai Xing. He has a bitter-sweet ending as he had to let go of Zhai Xing as she wants to be with Chu You Wen.

Star Power

Everyone performed well especially Darren Wang as Chu You Wen and Xiao Zhang as Ji Chong did an outstanding job. They presented their characters well.

Overall Opinion

The story is good the cast did an excellent job presenting their characters despite not being a tragic story it gets emotional at times and the chemistry between the leads is adorable. Overall, it is worth watching.
