Drama Digest

The Impossible 3 tells the story of three different people who come together accidentally at one point in their life. The three people who get involved are ordinary human beings who have never met each other beforehand. One among them is a novelist who never got the recognition he wanted in life, the other is a tour guide and the last one is a stuntman who isn’t as efficient as he appears to be. A series of mysterious events happening around makes them work together as a team. Watch out for the series to know more about how they work together to save the kidnapped child and solve the problems at hand.

The Feel-Good Part

The best part of the series is the impeccable acting delivered by the actors. The film-like quality of the series is what takes it to another level. Moreover, it’s the relationship and trust between the trio which intrigues a lot slower as time progresses.

The Disappointing Part

The main factor that disappoints is that the series was wrapped around in just 6 episodes which were far too less. If more time had been provided, more of the storyline could have been pulled out. The plotline was a bit too weak. It even felt like the series was produced to promote Malaysia.

In-Depth Analysis

Filmed in Malaysia, the Shaw brothers did try to make the series look a bit different from the others by providing it with a film-like quality. It is a tighter story that is simple and enjoyable but had a funny plot. The characters were amazing throughout but the storyline was very weak.

Star Power

The actors are the ones who did a fantastic job of giving life to their characters very well. Even though the plotline was very weak and boring the actors tried their level best to make it look a bit more acceptable to the audience. The main three leads of the story are Julian Cheung starring as the novelist aka Su Rui, the stuntman Chen can as Bosco Wong, and the tour guide Jiang Bao Er as Chrissie Chau were amazing in the content they provided. The other prominent side roles also did a very great job by helping the lead actors and taking the series to success.

Overall Opinion

Overall, the series had good acting done by the actors but it was the plot that felt so odd and got so boring as it went on. The quality of production is also great and can match with that of film productions. It has good background effects. It has a very simple plot and is recommended to watch if u have ample time to spare. The characters are great but not to be watched keeping high expectations in mind.
