Drama Digest
The narrative follows Bihua Lingjun finding a magical egg that can cause individuals to do anything they desire, and they can bring forth anything out of it. Bihua, who loves mystical creatures, embraces the egg by hugging it and keeping it warm. As a result, he successfully hatches a tiger out of the egg. The narrative then follows how the arrival of the tiger changes the dynamics of Bihua’s house, as it is home to other creatures too, with a secret twist at the end.
The Feel-Good Part
The innocence of the characters is something that makes the plot very interesting and entertaining. The way the characters reflect their pure-heartedness is very adorable. The fact that it is adapted from the novel that goes by the same title makes it amazing, as who wouldn’t love to see the characters in motion?
The Disappointing Factor
There’s nothing particularly disappointing about Ru Yi Dan, but the plot is very similar to that of many Disney films. This is not a problem as such, because the genre demands narratives as such. It just does not make the show extraordinarily unique, which is fine.
In-Depth Analysis
In Ru Yi Dan we can see Da Feng’s signature style of writing stories, which are very rich in imagery, and the depiction of emotions by the characters is subtle. Most of the elements in Da Feng’s work are similar to MXTX as they share the same type of humour and character development in their writing. This is something that makes the narrative of Ru Yi Dan very pleasurable to pursue.

The main focus of the narrative is the tiger that was hatched by Bihua. Being the center of attention, it holds a lot of mystery, which keeps the audience engaged throughout the story. All its actions and its involvement with other creatures are also very funny. Amazing character development by Da Feng as everything about the character is so subtle and beautiful.

The series is a perfect balance between love, humour, and drama, none of it is overdone. This is a complete package of lighthearted entertainment with amazing characters.
