Drama Digest

Sun Wu Hen (Zhang Xin Bi), the Princess of the Haitang Kingdom, had little hope of marrying for love. But when it revealed that she’d be shifting to the Xiangxiong Kingdom as the bride in a diplomatic marriage, all her hopes of finding her one true love look crushed. With no choice but to do as she instructed, Wu Hen and her nanny set off for the far realm, with nothing to look forward to but a lifetime devoted to a loveless marriage. When Wu Hen arrives; however, things take an unexpected turn when she discovers that the marriage traditions of the Xiangxiong Kingdom are vastly different from those of her kingdom. As a bride marrying into the royal Ma family, Wu Hen now chooses the family’s five sons. Although legally married to all five sons, Wu Hen decides to give every prince a chance to capture her heart before settling on a single marriage. Wu Hen goes into a “trial marriage” with each of the princes to give them a fair chance. But the more time she spends with the princes, the more she suspects that this marriage is more than just a diplomatic arrangement.

The Feel-Good Part

This drama is hilarious, insane, humorous, and surprising. It isn’t your typical princess storyline! Casting has done an excellent job with all of the characters. I believe that the third prince’s behaviour is unusual by any standard. The Fifth Prince (the Kid) is fantastic, astounded by his wisdom and emotional intelligence. I think the Princess is excellent in her role, and I feel that the First Prince is infatuated with her but is trying not to express it.

The Disappointing Factor

Characters don’t have to have a meaningful plot. Still, this drama didn’t have anything exceptional, and everything is somewhat unremarkable. Some of the humour is relatively crude. The split between comedy and music is used far too frequently and grows increasingly tiresome as the film progresses. It mocks and insouciantly disrespects theatrical traditions. While keeping some warmth and elegance, it is a very low-budget drama if you like magnificent sets, outfits, and everything else. It is not the place to look because you will be unimpressed at the end. It lacks anything that qualifies as outstanding or remarkable. But that doesn’t make it any less entertaining to see.

In-Depth Analysis

I’m delighted the sponsors and team considered the show’s eccentricity while deciding on a title. According to the headline, “Princess, please! You’ve got five husbands. ” When you begin watching the show, you already know what you’re getting yourself into what. The theme of male nobility having several female partners is a tired trope. It always seems that the females deal with the fact that they share with their husband but can’t even speak or look at another man in a stable condition. So it’s good to see that scenario turned for a while, where the men share their wife and have to live in that reality as if it’s normal.

Star Power

Zhang Xin Bi has featured as the prominent female protagonist in this drama. The male lead characters are Li Ming Jun, Yang Hao Ming, Wang Hao Xiang, and Li Ze Qian; they all performed brilliantly.

Overall Opinion

Everything about this was entertaining to watch, so I would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for something unusual to see. This narrative is also quite sophisticated, introducing a new theme with humour. It is an excellent storyline for fans of craziness and comprehensive entertainment. It’s lively and often humorous.
