Drama Digest
Zhang Si Nian is Yun Shu’s university lecturer. But due to some circumstances, they get into a contractual marriage. They start living together and feelings grow between them but as they have a student-teacher relationship, they have to keep it a secret from everyone.

The Feel-Good Part
The male and female lead make a perfect couple. Even though it is a kind of enemies to lovers’ story, they don’t play childish tricks to annoy each other, they try to understand
one another and are always kind to each other, especially the male lead.
The male lead is very calm and collected throughout the show. and these types of shows tend to make the female lead dumb but Yun Shu is not stupid, she is smart and sometimes clumsy but not dumb.
The Disappointing Factor
The show has nothing new to offer. Fake marriage and forced proximity tropes are very common. But even with a similar plot, the show is unique in its own way.
In-Depth Analysis
The story revolves around Zhang Si Nian and Yun Shu who get into a contractual marriage because of some reason and then fall in love with each other.
The drama gives similar vibes to the novel “The love hypothesis” by Ali Hazelwood. Now some people may not be comfortable with the student-teacher trope but while watching the two main leads you will forget that there is even something like that, their chemistry is that good. Their personality just fits with each other so perfectly that once you start the show you don’t want it to end.
And the best part of the show is that there are no unnecessary misunderstandings and even if there are, it doesn’t last for too long. They both sit and talk about things that are bothering them instead of overthinking. The show doesn’t have any sort of melodrama.
Star Power
The storyline had nothing new to offer, the staircase made the show successful. The actors were perfect for the role given especially the male lead.
Overall Opinion
If you like fake marriage, forced proximity, and grumpy x sunshine characters tropes, then this drama is for you. It is worth giving a try.
