Drama Digest

The show features three widely different metropolitan women who have entered their thirties while confronting obstacles in their lives, as they leave behind their youthful, carefree 20s to embrace the “mature” existence of a 30-year-old. One of them suspects her husband of having a young mistress, while the other struggles with sales and relationships, and the third woman’s ideal marriage is shattered. How will the three women deal with the responsibilities that come with turning thirty? To learn more about it and other events, watch the series.

The Feel-Good Part

There are some wholesome scenes throughout the series. One of them is the scene where Gu Jia gets revenge on the kindergarten mother who bullied her kid. The scene where she removes her watch and shoes and drags the bullies to the room where they keep her son is brilliant. It also demonstrates that Gu Jia is not someone who should be overlooked or handled lightly by those wealthy mothers. Scenes like these where women are shown strong and independent even if it’s for a small amount of screentime are the scenes that hit you in the guts.

The Disappointing Factor

Everything seemed to have been hurried in the end. Although the ending is conventional and sweet, the prior episodes might have made it more credible and compelling.

In-Depth Analysis

Characters in “Nothing But Thirty” are quite well developed. They may be imperfect and far from saints, but this makes them more sympathetic and helps them to grow into better versions of themselves. This series provides both beautiful moments of friendship and family and drama as the characters’ lives go through challenging times.

Star Power

The leading ladies are excellent in their roles. The supporting cast also performs an excellent job.

Overall Opinion

When I’m feeling low, I generally watch heartwarming dramas. However, this is the type of content you should consume anytime you want. It’s the most clichéd drama you’ll ever see, but you’re fascinated by each scene, anticipating something different in the next one. It is truly intriguing.
