Drama Digest –
Yu Lan had a crush on Sheng You Ting for a long time. She loved his looks and his innocence. For 11 years, she lived for his love until she realizes it is no longer valid for her to hold this unrequited love. She always felt inferior for his love and wondered she is not worthy of him. She tried to get rid of him only to know it was too painful and impossible for her. She realizes that if someone loves for a long time, it becomes difficult to suddenly cut off and stop loving at all.
The Feel-Good Part –
The good part of this series is the uniqueness and the freshness this series brings with itself. The story written for this series is smooth and doesn’t have many plot holes. The background score and music is impressive and it creates another depth and dimension to the overall story and the scene. The casting was good and impactful. It is adapted from the manhua “More and More Loves You” by Ake Culture.
The Disappointing Factor –
The background music is overdone in some parts while being lovely and appropriate in some parts. The series also lacks logic and coherence. Despite being an inspiring story, the story is not new enough to excite the audience. Such similar stories had already been made and had been much of a success and a cult classic for all. Some parts of the story are overdramatic and overhyped.
In-Depth Analysis –
The shining part of the story is how different young individuals deal with daily life. The biggest flaw of the show is definitely the factor of how short this series is. It could be less to know and connect with a new boy-band. The show is short for the type of content it presents, and the duration is also less enough. If they could show more musical content and maybe collaborate with both the musicians, it could’ve added more thrill into the series for the audience.
Star Power –
Yu Lan’s character is sweet and simple. She keeps her composure nice and doesn’t go above the limits. Her misconceptions and lack of confidence bring much stress and tension into her life, but she seems happy in her skin. While Sheng Yu Ling is smart and confident and is a friendly and generous guy. He uplifts the spirits of Yu and makes her realize her potential.
Overall Opinion –
A recommended series for someone who wishes to watch sweet romantic love stories.
