Drama Digest
“Married First Then Fall in Love” is a story about a girl named Song An Qiao. Her step mother detests her and doesn’t take good care of her. In order to pay off their debt her step mother sold her to a wealthy family. She was forced to married Chu Fei Yuan, the eldest son of the Chu family. The story unravels as these two starts living together as married couple.
The Feel-Good Part
The way ML takes care of FL is touching. Though they marry without love the way they develop feelings for each other and support each other is moving. This drama is short which makes it makes it easier to watch.
The Disappointing Factor
The plot is a regular cliché and has nothing unique or impressive. There are a lot of stories with the same contract marriage trope. The story doesn’t have right flow.
In-Depth Analysis
The lead Song An Qiao is a typical Cinderella character. She suffers quietly while not being able to receive love from either of her parents and is hated by her step mother. She is a naive person who lets people take advantage of her. Her stepmother sells her off to the rich Chu family. She claims that Song An needs to marry as a way of repaying her as she raised her. Not being able to do anything she marries Chu Fei Yuan. Fei Yuan is a rich guy who suffers from past trauma. At first, he is cold but later he develops feelings for the female lead. The story develops as they stay together under the name if marriage.
Star Power
Mia Mi and Cai Zhong Liang did a good job and their chemistry on screen is good.
Overall Opinion
Overall, there are a lot of dramas with the same story, but if you are a fan of such contract marriage setting then this will be to your liking. It is worth watching once.
