Drama Digest
A girl named Jiang Jun is allergic to tears. She is idealistic and unconstrained due to her family’s superior background. She meets her childhood friend, Yuan Shuai. Currently, Yuan Shuai is no longer her gentle protector like he used to be. He is a rival to her now. Although, her courteous nature and attention to detail, along with her high IQ, she finally becomes successful in both her career and love life.
The Feel-Good Part
The fast-paced plot is a breath of fresh air, and despite revealing a lot in the first episode itself, like most dramas would do in the first episode, it’s still able to keep viewers on their toes, wanting to watch more between the main leads.
People who can not stand dramas that wait till the halfway mark in the entire series before letting the main couple progress will appreciate the Love is Sweet’s fast pacing a lot.
The Disappointing Factor
The drama could be of shorter episodes. Twenty-four episodes would have been ideal and enough, but still, it could have ended on episode 32. It was stretched from episode 32 to 36 unnecessarily, and there were tasteless plots.

It follows the story of a girl named Jiang Jun who meets her childhood playmate, Yuan Shuai, in the workplace. However, not as a ally but a rival.
Her parent’s liberal ways of raising her gave rise to her firm, independent and idealistic character. After graduating, she aimed to work with a non-profit organization to follow her dream of helping others.
She decides to join a top investment company named MH; after her father’s death, it was his dying wish. Furthermore, someone seems to plot against her, and she must rely on her wits and will to succeed not just in her career but in her love life too.
Star Power
Leo Luo is undoubtedly suitable for the role of a tee with his good looks as suave, and confident Yuan Shuai. You will love his smile, smirks and charm as an unjust man. Bai Lau is known for her versatility as an actress as she can appear at ease for days roles. In this, she gave Jiang Jun a very down-to-earth feel. Bai Lu and Leo Luo have a natural couple vibe that makes viewers ask for more.
Overall Opinion
It gives you that pang in a heart feeling. It will make you feel a whole myriad of emotions. It was pretty creative how the female lead can not shed her tears, and the premise of the show is interesting too. Satisfactory to watch, especially if you’re a lot into the romance genre.
