Drama Digest

A story about two opposed men in that one kills, and the other heals. One is an aggressive cop, while the other is a caring doctor. During difficult times, they encourage and restore each other. Jiang Yue Lou, the head of the Jingcheng Police Headquarters, looks to be neither good nor wicked. Traffickers, on the other hand, shudder at the prospect of him. Yue Lou meets Yu Zhi while investigating an opium incident in Hong Kong. Yu Zhi learns that Yue Lou has bipolar disorder. Yue Lou finally opens up to Yu Zhi despite her initial unwillingness to seek treatment. Despite their opposing viewpoints, they gradually become good friends. Secrets from the past begin to bubble to the surface around this time.

The Feel-Good Part

The plot ultimately features a lot of criminal activity, focusing specifically on interhuman connections. With a significant emphasis on Jiang Yuelou and Chen Yuzhi’s stable relationship, it expands on more than just maintaining peace in Jingcheng City. We watch Jiang Yuelou as he learns to trust the people around him again and seeks a safer environment in Chen Yuzhi, who welcomes him with boundless faith. With each episode, the image becomes more apparent as we get to know Jiang Yuelou and Chen Yuzhi as individuals and begin to connect with the characters they portray to us.

The Disappointing Factor

This drama gave me “guardian” feelings from the start. Even though the scenery and props were outstanding, the overall quality appeared below. The story is shoddy at best, and the implementation is mediocre. What I didn’t enjoy about the plot was how it progressed. There are many dead ends because people on nefarious organizations die without disclosing anything. The story eventually becomes predictable and irritating.

In-Depth Analysis

There are several story twists, the characters are all well-formed, and everything that occurs makes sense. Jiang Yuelou and Chen Yuzhi have a satisfying relationship, which makes me very glad because I’m tired of idealized toxic relationships in movies. Many great sequences between the leads which removed due to Chinese censorship, but I encourage you to watch them after the show ends. And the polar opposite endings.

Star Power

Mao Zijun in Jiang Yuelou and Ian Yi in Chen Yuzhi were both fantastic. Killer and Healer is their outstanding drama as protagonists, in my opinion. So seeing them here was both exciting and pleasurable. Mao Zijun is my ultimate favourite because he can balance being calm and attractive while portraying difficult situations in which he suffers and feels terrible. I’m impressed with Mao Zijun because it’s challenging to play a character who can be violent and compassionate. He’s able to demonstrate how Jiang Yuelou can be challenging but also vulnerable. Excellent performance and characterization. Ian Yi was perfect for playing the sweet and loving doctor Chen Yuzhi. Other supporting characters are also quite good. Chu Ran was never bothersome and was just level-headed, peaceful, intelligent, and cute. Song Rong and Sun Yongren are two of my favourite supporting characters. There’s also the entertaining second “couple” of characters, Zhan Junbai and Yu Tangchun. Their relationship is also fascinating and heartbreaking. I adored both actors in these parts and thoroughly loved watching their conversations and connection.

Overall Opinion

I’m highly fascinated by this drama and the sweet love story between Jian Yue Lou and Chen Yu Zhi. I have hardly ever experienced such an excellent, healthy, well-balanced, and sophisticated relationship before, whether romantic or sentimental. The original ending is heartbreaking, but they presented an alternate ending. You won’t be disappointed after viewing it.
