Drama Digest
Face to Sea is a Chinese period drama broadcasted in 2020. It is the tale of a couple who work hard to fulfill their dreams in Shenchuan city. The main protagonist Wei Dongxiao, despite not getting to study beyond high school, is a quick-witted and street-smart person. When he manages to gain the trust of Fan Qisheng and Fang Dongxiang, he gets an opportunity to work in the principal activities of the reform movement. Along with the central narrative, it also depicts the growth of Shenchuan city for a period of forty years and modern China.

The story progresses in an inspiring way. The principal leads are inspirational other than being a tremendous onscreen couple, having magical chemistry.

The only handy disappointment about the drama is that it is far too lovable to the end.
