Drama Digest

In order to pay off her father’s debts, Huang Zi Xuan signs a contract with Leng Yao Zu, the owner of the No. 1 firm in Southern Chu, to pretend to be his sister.

The Feel-Good Part

The drama would still be interesting even without several unnecessary plot twists. In the play, almost everything is combined. The well-written main narrative moves along steadily. If you don’t understand Chinese, you can still enjoy this movie.

The Disappointing Factor

It had a strong beginning, but it could have been more powerful. This could seem a little strange to anyone who appreciates Chinese dramas with their traditional narrative style.

In-Depth Analysis

It’s a nice drama that doesn’t really stand out from other Korean dramas. The narrative is original and novel. Both comical and tragic elements can be found in the plot.

Star Power

The cast includes Ryan Cheng as Leng Yao Zu, Zheng Miao as Huang Zi Xuan. The lead actors are excellent in their parts. From the extras to the main characters, every single performance in the movie is excellent.

Overall Opinion

The story was essentially about the relationship between a shopkeeper and his fictitious sister. The plot is predictable and the characters are entertaining in this funny novel. If you want to watch something lightheartedly and not give it much thought, this drama is ideal. However, be ready for the clichés and awful subtitles.
