In the army, they are competitors and rivals in love. As time passes, they are put in ongoing trials that force them to make hard choices as they aspire ahead.
The Feel-Good Part
The military aspect of the drama was exciting, and the way they indicated military improvement was remarkable. The technological advancement was one of the most fascinating part. The issues which they presented were resolved slowly as the story progressed.

The romantic parts of the drama dragged the story. I feel like they could have avoided the love triangle. The main character was annoying in the beginning.

They had a strong friendship and cherished each other. The character development was likeable. At points the plot felt draggy. The portrayal of the bond between the soldiers was incredable. The ost was stunning and fitted the drama perfectly. This is a fantastic drama that helps us to learn more about the Chinese military. The drama is exciting, and it convinces the characters. The beginning was delightful, and the character development from the new recruits to war veterans is just mesmerising. The freshness and curiosity of the youth and the emotions of losing their loved ones was handled nicely. Ace troops have an excellent potential, but due to some reasons, they didn’t live up to the expectations. The story successfully portrayed the life of military people. The ending was satisfying. The writing feels like many shows are combined. In the second half, the romantic part takes a back seat in the second half. The second part also introduces the thriller with a terrorist plot that does quickly.

The acting was breathtaking. Gu Yiye’s character was perfectly portrayed. The star cast did a remarkable job with their roles. The supporting characters also did a fantastic work.
